Our Federation is very proud of our Church School status. We believe the Christian values underpinning our school vision enrich our children as they develop their identity and shape their future lives. Our curriculum is underpinned by our Christian ethos built on our Church of England foundations. We believe in ‘optimum learning for each child in a happy atmosphere’.
Our children’s educational journey is enriched and guided by the church vision and the eighteen values that underpin our school ethos. Our values help us to deepen the distinctive Christian character of our church school.

Last year we spent time evaluating the impact of having 18 Christian values underpinning our school vision. Although each value is important, we believe that focusing on a smaller set of 6 values will help us to capture the true heart of our school community and ensure our vision is clear and understood by all.
Our exciting task this year is to work as a community to decide on which six values these will be. Over the Autumn term we sent home activity sheets which focused on two values that your child will have explored in school. These activity sheets include opportunities to read together, learn some fascinating facts and take up a home school challenge. Lots of parents used these activity sheets to help their child understand each value and think about which values they felt best support our school community.
It’s now time to invite our staff, parents and members of our wider school community to share their thoughts and vote on the six values that they feel best represent our school community. The children will have the opportunity to complete this in school.
We look forward to working with you all to develop our Federation vision!
